Laurent is an experienced entrepreneur in the field of light-based devices for dermatology. He was the founder of Dermoptics (a company sold to Quantel S.A.) and worked more than 10 years in product development and management from R&D to end-users. Laurent has a PhD in lasers physics and a Master in project management.

Jean-Baptiste FOUCHÉ, CTO 
Taking advantage of his extensive experience in developing and industrializing high-tech products for telecom, datacom or ophthalmic industries, Jean-Baptiste formerly took the head of the product department at NDT Expert, an Airbus company dedicated to non-destructive testing for aerospace industry, where he successfully brought several high-tech devices to the market. He is now in charge of R&D and production units at Clarteis. Jean-Baptiste holds a MSc from Institut d’Optique Graduate School.

Alain NYSSENS, financing adviser 
Besides being a successful business angel, Alain was an economist at the BNB (National Bank of Belgium) and was an expert for the IMF for which he led long term missions in Africa. In a previous life, Alain has been the head of the cabinet of the prime minister of Belgium and he was a board member of the “Société Nationale de Crédit à l’Industrie” and the  “Société Régionale d’Investissement de Wallonie”, two Belgian national investment companies.

Sacha EXPERT, business development adviser 
Sacha has a long and successful experience in business development. He now runs companies involved in energy (300 people, 60M$) and he’s focused on international development. Building profitable growth in Europe and opening new subsidiaries in emerging countries (Eastern Europe, Asia) is one of his current tasks. He brings the global business vision to Clarteis.

Bruno GODARD, scientific adviser 
Bruno is a recognized scientist in lasers and light. He is the author of 60 international patents and more than 100 peer-reviewed publications. In 1992, Bruno was awarded for developing the first Xe-Cl excimer laser overpassing 1000W (world contest). Bruno is also the co-founder of Excico (a company sold to Dainippon Screen Mfg. in 2014) and a former board member of the French Society for Medical Lasers.
